All Aid Through Trade™ silks are hand crafted by artisans from a non-profit humanitarian center in Hanoi, Vietnam. The center provides a living wage and empowers its artisans through further training in hand crafts. The continued production and Fair Trade export of these unique silk items also helps to preserve a traditional Vietnamese skill and craft. Over 40 different groups of artisans work together at the humanitarian center, most comprised of Vietnamese ethnic minorities.
